Polaris Dance Company Apprentice
Lucy Dillon is a lifelong dancer and recently graduated from UC Irvine with a B.F.A. in Dance Performance. While at UCI, Lucy performed in work by UCI Faculty, graduate students, and fellow undergraduates and trained with many inspirational professors including Charlotte Griffin, Lar Lubovitch, and Shaun Boyle. She worked extensively with Dr. Sheron Wray as a member of her Insight Jazz Ensemble and Chad Michael Hall as a performer with Interface Ensemble. For her commitment to research, leadership, and service at UCI, Lucy was the recipient of the Chancellor’s Award of Distinction upon graduation. In addition to performance, Lucy is a passionate choreographer. Her work was selected to premiere in UCI’s Bare Bones Dance Theatre’s annual show in 2016 and 2017. Lucy has also performed as a guest artist with San Diego’s Malashock Dance Company, The Lexi Viernes Dance Project, and has danced at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and American Dance Festival. Lucy recently moved to Portland and is thrilled to dance with Polaris Dance Theatre!
