“This class is amazing. If you’re not a dancer, don’t get caught up in what you can’t follow and just keep moving! A little bit of everything – warm up, conditioning, across the floor work (cardio), and simple choreography. Super fun!”
“Great class! Good intro to contemporary for those with some dance experience. I would agree this is an “all levels” class with the exception of people who have never taken a dance class – the choreography is more suited for a (somewhat experienced) beginner or intermediate dancer. Advanced dancers would still get a good workout and some practice. Another good thing – the Adult class was actually full of adults, not just older teens and professionals like I have experienced in other studios.”

Serena C: “I found this studio on ClassPass. It is an awesome find. I am a dancer, but have been out of it for many years. I took the adult contemporary class, and it’s a great place to jump back into dance. The teacher is kind, and the studio has a great energy. The room that we use for the adult class is large, which is important for a person like me who likes to really travel when going across the floor. There are huge windows and great flooring. While I think it would be important to have some dance background, it seems like a good class for most levels. There are a bunch of kiddos running around, so I assume there are a number of classes for children. I understand that the studio is a nonprofit organization, so the owner seems to really care about making dance accessible. Thank you!”

The choreography, music and, of course, dancers were stellar. I was completely mesmerized with the performances. I also appreciated the introduction at the head of the evening from Robert, one of the founders of the troupe. A little background on the history of Polaris had me feeling like a participant and not so much as simply an audience member.”
